What is a bitmap image?
A bitmap image uses a grid of individual pixels where each pixel can be a different color or shade. Bitmaps are composed of pixels. Bitmap images require higher resolutions and anti-aliasing for a smooth appearance.

How can I use a bitmap image?
Bitmaps are best used for photographs and images with subtle shading.

 

Vector Image FAQs

How can I use the images from this site?
Free downloadable images can be obtained by right-clicking the full-size image and selecting Save Picture As. These images can be modified as normally done for bitmaps images.

Why do I need to buy images at all?
To change the vignette (gradation) or shape of the characters etc. you need to have vector images. Vector images can be downloaded from this site by paying the nominal cost displayed in the image details page. You can make online payment to download the images.

What is the minimum payment that I need to make to obtain vector images?
As you add the images to the cart, the total amount will increase in proportion to the cost of the image added. When the total amount reaches the 5$ (Rs.200.00) mark, you are automatically entitled to make online payment. At this point, you can choose whether to continue shopping for more images or stop to make your payment.

What is the mode of payment and how do I go about it?
You can make an online transaction through bank to credit the amount in our account or you can send us a pay order / cheque / DD or in cash to get the product downloaded.

What do I get when I pay for the clipart?
When you pay for the clipart. You get a compressed (zip) file which contains vector files in svg, wmf & ai formats.

What are vector images?
Vector drawings can be scalable to any size without any loss in quality. This makes them ideal for company logo's or other objects that have to be resized frequently. Vector graphics use mathematical relationships between points and the paths connecting them to describe an image. Vector graphics are composed of paths.

What can they be used for?
Typical uses are for stationery, large banners, signs vehicle graphics and just about anything else you can think of! Vector Graphics are also ideally suited for detailed illustrative work and industrial illustrations. Graphics best suited for the vector format are Logos, page layout, type, line art or illustrations.
